honestly, i think LA has a far better chance to win than SA.

do I want that to happen? NO. but let's not be homers here.
    No doubt.
That said, I missed 21_Palins threads after the Mavericks or Nuggets games this season...

They have the same chance. I'm talking probabilities. Talent is just one variable. Coaching is one. Injuries are another. We're less than 15 games into the season. We really have no idea who the top 5-10 teams are yet. Unless you wanna claim Atlanta is top 2 in the East. LOL Mike Woodson.

Injuries are the only thing that can derail the Lakers. When healthy, nobody can beat these guys 4 times in 7 games. Not humanly possible
Whatever helps you sleep at night. Quite a bench you guys have

Andrew Bynum, aka the best center in the world, was injured stupid! Jeez, obviously the Lakers would win every year if it weren't for injuries!

I'll bet you any amount of money that a full-strength Lakers squad doesn't even go 7 with any other team this year.

Normal Laker fan premature ejaculation, no surprises here. Laker fans said the same thing when they had Shaq, Kobe, Malone, and Payton

I was responding when he posted it so I guess I can't claim I predicted it.

How about a Laker fans response to the fact the Celtics were hobbled by injuries last year? Maybe injuries on other teams don't matter cuz those teams suck anyways.

Were they at full strength last year when the Rockets, minus their two best players, took them to 7? Just curious.

Could the Celtics have won it all had they not been injured last year? you're goddamn right they could have. Do I think they would have? No, LA had the homecourt, was a tougher team and would've prevailed in 6 or 7 IMO

So if they don't repeat, they're just another team then? I'll go ahead and bookmark this post.
Another myopic Spurs fan, didn't say they'd be another " team", I said if healthy they "will be first back to back since the S/K Lakers, Bulls of 90's and the Dream's Rockets. Notice I didn't mentions the Spurs..."

Never mentioned that taste in your mouth when watching the Spurs this year. Boo-Yaaah!! LOL!

I'll take that bet assuming we can add this:

I also win the bet when the Lakers lose a series in less than 7.

maybe 5 years ago...right now they'll be lucky to be playing at home in the first round. The Spurs look old, slow, and unathletic...good luck trying to hang with LA, Denver, and Portland on those old legs

What are Kobe, Odom and Gasol doing out there with a 28 point lead and 9 mins to go?
Practicing together in a game situation. Any fool would realize that knowing Gasol was out the first 11 games. And then they sat....

haters just have to find reasons to hate...

I fully expect them if the Lakers win. As much as I don't expect to see your frontrunning ass if the Lakers happen to lose.

Wait, if November wins don't matter, what's this thread about?

Don't give me wrong. I could care less who the Lakers beat tonight.

At heart, I'm a basketball fan. The Lakers have 5 post options that can score. They move the ball beautifully. They can play slow and fast tempo. They play elite defense.

I cherish every second I watch this team play because I know it won't last forever. It's the way basketball is supposed to be played.

The NBA Forum will be empty come June. All these laker fans are gonna skedaddle once their "unbeatable" team gets beat.
