Holding The C's to 90 is respectable. And sometimes your balls just don't fall on offense. But the turnovers and freethrow percentage are not forgivable.

The thing to me is Parker looks so sloppy, so disinterested in playing defense or dishing the ball.
I would love to ship him to New Orleans then he can be as disinterested as he wants.

Mason sucked all season and Parker's a mediocre playmaker. Spurs needed an extra man to create plays in the closing minutes of the game(sure as wasn't going to be RJ).
On April 2010, Duncan era is all over.
The Celtics starters were just flat out better than our starters tonight... Pop is going to have to keep on tinkering with the starting lineup because it's just not working...

You have to credit them with the turnovers though... Also with our ty 3 point night... They just play harder and better defensively than we do right now...

Observations...Blair is the Spurs best player...Hill is afraid to shoot jumpers..Bogans should NEVER play again...Jefferson is lost..Blair is...LOL
I think we can beat them, but I'm more interested in games against top defensive teams like the Celtics or Lakers than against offensive juggernauts like Denver or Phoenix... Just my preference though... And BTW, I never left the bandwagon...
The only thing I can take from the Spurs pissing this game away was the play of Blair and the bench. That was what kept us in the game, that was what closed the leads, and that was what showed any fire and energy. RJ was decent on defense or Pierce was just off tonight, but was otherwise a non-factor.
The turnovers were disgusting, but 1/2 of those were from cuts to the direction opposite the pass. That should clean up as the year goes by.
Given that the Celtics have a lot better chemistry and confidence in each other, I thought the Spurs hung in there pretty well.
Final verdict: Ugly offensive game, decent defensive game. Correctable and encouraging.
Tell me what is wrong with Parker then???? If you are French do you know if he is pissed off with Pop or the Spurs over the French National team?
He looks awful this season. He still can't hit his free throws either.
btw I thought Parker played MAGNIFICENT the second half of last season. I only get on TP when I know he is not anywhere near his best level.
This kind of play from TP is unacceptable. If he is a fan of Jordan like he says he is then he should know Jordan would not play this sloppy and take nights off all the time.
