Or you could check to see if there's a hack for your DVD player that will kill the region code.
Thanks for quoting it, 1Parker1. I hadn't noticed my typo.
There are currently 6 global region codes that identify specific DVDs that are compatible with the players typically sold in that region. The majority of all current les play in only one specific region unless otherwise noted. Most of the DVDs sold by Amazon.com are encoded for Region 1 (U.S. and Canada) only and may not work on DVD players in other countries. Listed below are the six regions.
1) U.S., U.S. Territories, Canada, and Bermuda
2) Japan, Europe, South Africa, and the Middle East, including Egypt
3) Southeast Asia, East Asia, including Hong Kong
4) Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean
5) Former Soviet Union, Indian subcontinent, Africa, North Korea, and Mongolia
6) China
If you're interested in buying DVDs from other regions, try our international sites.

Or you guys have that option...............
Thanks for the info 1Parker1, some international posters have been asking about it.
Has the PAL version for Europe even been made yet? I don’t think it has...Also, there are legitimate Region Free DVD players on the market...
^Agreed. Its gay. Its not as if virtually all DVD players overseas cannot be decoded anyway. If not, just play it in your PlayStation 2 as I do when in Brazil. But my DVD players down there do play all regions. In my case, though, I'm just gonna buy it in San Antonio when I get home next week.
I ordered mine from http://www.dvdpacific.com
Just buy a generic DVD player that plays all regions, accepts CD, CDR, CDRW, DVD, DVDR, DVDRW. Usually the well-known companies players can't do this (mine is from a company called X-View).
I ordered the Spurs Championship pack (DVD+cap+shirt), now I'm waiting for its arrival.
Does anyone know where you can buy it from in Australia?
try kickz101.com.au if ur from melb, but they overcharge like 60 bucks stuff that, i dunno if the y got them in stock but u can shop around or order it
Where could I possibly get a copy near the Philippines?
It's not a foreign film. Damn.
I've been very excited in this Championship DVD and waiting it for a long time...
Philippines...are you ready!...?
Currently, Amazon is taking orders , but they are processed by NBA shop. They charge too much for shipping ($15 for DVD & $31 for the c'ship kit). I'd suggest you order in bulk through a friend in US and get it shipped via USPS/UPS and save some money![]()
My friend in Austin is shipping me 5 DVDs and each one os us here just pay $1.25 for shipping![]()
Australian's will just have to order it from the internet or perhaps get your local quality DVD shop to order in it. There is a like a 2% chance that anywhere else other than DPlayground in Sydney or Kickz101 in Melbourne will get it, and even then, those guys will charge $60 for it and probably not have it for a while.
Amazon shd have an australian site right? You should be getting a better shipping rate (from amazon, if you can wait for 2 months when they start selling directly - not the nba.com , it sucks)
How'bt ebay aussie site ?
