Oh and that effect you speak of is due to PJax, not Kobe. Kobe isn't exactly known for making his teammates better. In the non PJax Kobe era, the role players legitimately played poorly but PJax is the best there has ever been at making role players play above their heads.

But now he is probably the best in the game at making his teammates better. Recent GM survey puts Kobe at the #2 NBA leader and I agree. Kobe's supreme work ethic is contagious.

LeBron has a far superior cast. Shaq, Mo Williams, Delonte, Big Z, Anthony Parker, Verajao...all very solid players.

LeBron's gonna have 2-3 All Stars this year on the Cavs. Lakers will only have Kobe.

It's not surprising that if the Lakers lose, it's Kobe's fault. But if the Lakers win, it's due to Phil Jackson.

If you actually watched basketball and the Lakers the last ten years, then yes.

82games.com did a good statistical analysis on Kobe's impact in improving his teammates a while back if you're one of those that never watched the Lakers.

I guess if you formed all your opinions based on what talking heads like Jon Berry say on ESPN I could see why one would think Kobe doesn't make his teammates better.
