I never thought I'd see the day when JJ Re was more clutch than Vince Carter.
i dony know I dont like Boston and Im not counting them out ...
BUT I want La/Boston Finals.

Okay. I honestly think Cleveland, Boston, or Orlando could make it to the Finals though. They each have their own advantages. I think Boston just needs a young guy like Tony Allen to step up because the vets are aging.
But getting these vets was worth it for you guys. Before the deals Boston was one of the worst teams in the NBA. In my opinion I think its too risky to build for the future because by the time the team is ready to compete another team may already have a great superstar.
I think Boston can make a run, but this year's run will be their last. KG, even though he had surgery, probably has 1 solid season left in him. Sheed's game has been slow for a while now, but he can still play solid defense.
No excuses but injuries matter:
KG, kobe, VC, Parker, manu, Roy and melo all limited by injury
Has anyone else seen Dwight pull off the moves he was showing tonight though??? I saw him drop in a lefty hook too. Usually when the defender keeps him away from underneath the basket he wouldn't be able to finish.
I really root for the guy because he is a class act. He's always goofing around, he never swears, and he never knocks down his own teammates.
He never really had the chance to use those moves when he doesn't get the ball (stupid teammates, we chuck threes). Dwight can get himself into deep position and score. If he made 70% of his free throws, he might actually be scoring more than 22.
Vince Carter is so awful. They should trade him back to Toronto for Hedo, I'm sure Toronto wants out of that contract.
Howard's moves are like his FTs, it's unpredictable every night..you don't know which Dwight you're going to get in that regard..
Good W for Orlando though..
I'm a big VC fan so I've been cheering for them, but it was sad as to watch 2 of my favorites looking so bad tonight(Carter+KG)..injuries have taken their toll, hopefully they can both bounce back, but it doesn't look good..
Vince sucks. I'd take Courtney Lee and Turko over him.

I think Boston made a mistake by putting K.G. on Dwight instead of Sheed in that 4th quarter. K.G. is a great defender but you saw how slow he was out there. When Sheed was defending him he would always deflect the entry pass. Orlando got back in the game when Dwight started getting into the paint.
Boston doesn't look like they have a real offense going though. They would just drive and kick. For 3 quarters that worked but when the Orlando defenders sprinted back to Ray Allen their offense would crumble. Ray Allen would step in and turn the ball over.
Lee and Turkoglu have been horrible this season too..
I have to give Howard credit- he's finally looking like he actually tried to improve his game this summer the past ten games or so. He's been very good offensively and showing off a new arsenal we hadn't previously seen. I'm just wondering why the it took him so long to use it.
Because his teammates never pass him the ball.
KG is basically a s of his former self without his athleticism.
It's crazy to think how fast his health failed him after so many injury free seasons.

PG: Derrick Rose. I just love how he takes the ball to the rim at will
SG: Allen Iverson. I hate how his career has ended up the last 2 years, but I will always remember him being the toughest little man to ever play in the NBA.
SF: Rashard Lewis. Guy has a beautiful stroke.
PF: Sheed. Down to Earth. Always has been a solid fundamental player even though he never became a superstar.
C: Dwight. Like I said before a class act. He just has fun and plays and he keeps getting better.
Good win for the Magic, who I feel haven't really impressed this season considering all the talent they have. Dwight improves steadily, but he's still not as good as he can be because he's inconsistent (could be teammates or himself, I don't watch enough of him to know), but he's got a lot in him for us to see if he gets it right.
Paul Pierce losing is always good to see.
