@ this thread. It is quickly becoming the best thread in club history. It's like the woman of the forum finally got fed up with the 23,432,234 "I'd Hit It" threads and are getting revenge.
I think the guys are getting a raw deal in this thread. The truth is, girls are just as picky as guys ... if not moreso. No female on the planet thinks 100% of guys are worth getting to know. In fact, most guys will go for a larger percentage of the population than women. Women know what they want and don't deviate as much as guys do.
I really think that girls are actually more guilty of what they are complaining about in this thread. At least guys are usually consistent. If there is a girl that guys find ugly and/or annoying, she could achieve whatever she can in life and guys will still feel the same way. Most of them wouldn't change their opinion of the girl if she become a millionaire or was the first lady or walked on the moon. Guys will stick with their first impression.
Now on the other hand, if there's some guy who girls wouldn't give the time of day to ... and suddenly he becomes rich or famous, it's suddenly "OMG he's sooooooooooooooooooo hot OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111 *swoooooooon*". It's still the same guy that wasn't given the time of day, but because he achieved something, suddenly he's wanted. It doesn't matter if that guy is ugly, fat, short, balding or what have you. Girls will go after him.
Oh and I find it funny that people think that Dove started this ad to do anything other than make money. There's a freaking 400 post thread about it in a Spurs forum. Obviously they did it to gain attention and it's working. Believe me, if in their trial runs the ad hurt sales, they would have scrapped it faster than it took the anorexic girl they hired to replace the "real women" to eat their grape for dinner.
What women need to understand is they are fighting each other. A woman's biggest enemy is another woman. Guys don't care enough. Plus the hardest critic on any girl is there self. Every girl on earth goes through stages where they think they are ugly or fat or whatever. I've never met a girl who thought they were pretty 24/7.
