I don't even know what to say![]()
Instead of going small to start the fourth when Duncan sat, we could have stayed big with Ian and Blair. But Pop doesn't want to increase Ian's ing value so he goes small? When anyone with half a can tell that we have nothing resembling the athletcisim to keep up with this team if we go small?
Ridiculous.
I know we rarely win in Philly but this game was very winable.
Good enough. Still no reason to skip like that.
Yeah, but by judging by all the coaches that roam this forum, you'd think Ian was some superstar who'd score 20 per game if he got a chance to play.
I hate to say it, but Tim really should have taken care of things after that - and he didn't. Worse, he probably couldn't.
Alright!![]()
easy the silver lining is the 1 min reserved to Theo is now for Ian

If Tony plays this summer, I give the FO my full blessing to trade his ass.
Another year wasted because these guys don't want to rest.

And the rest of the Spurs D was great?
I am outraged. The whole idea of going small was summarized in that play when Roger Mason ran a pick n roll and hoisted an open three, only to find out that a perfect pick and roll with him doesn't work because Philly's perimeter guys are so athletic. Result is a stuff in Mason's face.
Not Mason's fault IMO, Pop put him in a position to fail.
That's what this whole fourth quarter was. Pop setting his team up to fail. It's outrageous.
Those 2010 Spurs are somthing special, aren't they?![]()
what a surprise
pop using small ball = turning point of the game
He's a freaking center bringing the ball up the court.
Basketball 101 is meet him at midcourt. Those fundamentally coached Spurs guards didn't even make an effort to help him out.
Ian with a few mistakes but how can you even get into game flow when you don't see the floor
I'm pretty sure the FO will be grateful for that
i miss theo...on the bench...
Pop set his team up for failure. That could somewhat explain Shoogarbear's observation of Duncan looking like he gave up.
How do you get geared to play when you were playing good spurs basketball, had a small little cushion of a lead....
then pop goes to his small ball bull , we give up that lead, and are now down ten ing points
"Tim, get in now"
It's outrageous. How could you get geared up to play when you played all game and you know in your heart Pop's stupid ass small ball cost your team that lead they were working all game to keep?
Insane.
I would be hard pressed to get motivated in that situation.
It's amazing how the division seems like a hot potato this year.
Dude... I was watching this game until halftime and thought we were playing well enough to win... we ing LOST?? Should have predicted it... oh well.
Theo Ratliff got 18 minutes, 5 boards, and 2 blocks against Shaq.![]()
It's never been more of Pop's fault than this year. Starting Bonner and Bogans, the tiny lineups, inconsistent minutes and roles...what the happened to Pop?
absolutely![]()

on a side note cats with 18 pts lead, tyrus with 11 rebounds and 5 blks ... lol
Seriously... Pop has to ing go... he has to.
