Shockingly, with that starting lineup, the Spurs inevitably couldn't score or get stops with any regularity, so they start off in a hole and need Ginobili to come in early and wear himself out to get them back into in. Inevitably, he'll over extend himself, play 32-34 and probably not have enough in the tank at the end to make plays down the stretch. Great coaching.
