Sons. God bless you and your family and the best of luck as your favorite team competes against mine. We all have to remember all that really matters is that we have fun and share Bud Light Lime's together. God Bless.
son God bless you and your family as well! my team is very poor this year. with CP3 out we have lost nearly all hope of getting into the playoffs. It is pretty pathetic that our mid 2nd round rookie draft pick (Thornton) is basically carrying the team. our other rookie Collison is right behind him. where is our "co-captain / 2-time All Star" David West when we need him? oh that's right, he is next to nothing without CP3. where is the $15 million per year Peja? lol no answer needed there.

sons congrats on the Spurs victory tonight.

I'm not saying I'm predicting the Spurs catching up to the Mavericks. I'm just saying that in the NBA, where slumps and surges are common, the Mavs could very easily lose 3 out of 5 games and suddenly the Spurs are back in it. Obviously they'd have to seriously outperform their first half record vs. .500+ teams, but there's still plenty of games left to play.

son there is no need to have faith in these heartless cowards. Thornton and Collison are the only two who actually give a damn.

Collison is a stud. What do you think happens to him when CP3 returns?

Strictly as a bpg or play them together?

son we will have a solid backup point guard for a change. I think the Hornets should hang on to Collison for 2 more years while we have him under the cheap rookie contract, then trade him after his 3rd season. I think that many people are jumping the gun with Collison. yes he is a good player and having a good rookie year, but he is also turning the ball over like crazy and costing us games with his selfish style of play. Most fans who aren't watching EVERY Hornets game doesn't realize this. If you watch the Hornets on a nightly basis then you know what I am talking about. Collison also makes TERRIBLE decisions multiple times EVERY game and especially in the clutch. he pretty much single handedly lost our last game and at least 2 or 3 other games in the last 4-6 weeks. he has a shoot first / me first mentality and has a lot to learn.

Sons, we all know Peja is worried about chasing porn stars that cannot hold a candle to the beauty that is Becky Hammon. She would never go for a coward like Peja. God Bless.

    Joe Alexander.

Former Spur Sean Marks stopped warming up long enough to walk down to the Spurs end of the floor to visit with Manu Ginobili.

Former Spurs player Paul Pressey is now on the Hornets coaching staff and is out on the AT&T Center court working with his players.

More than an hour before Spurs vs. Hornets tips off. Bruce Bowen was down on the court talking to Tim Duncan and Tony Parker.

That is funny now that you think about it. Pop in the scheme of things chose Finley over Bowen, and Finley turned his back on him

Weirder things have happened in the NBA. And really, I wouldn't count the Spurs out. As you pointed out (I think) there's been a noticeable downward trend in terms of small-ball over the last few games. If the players can finally come in with defined roles the Spurs are a team that is talented enough to put a run on (even if their schedule is brutal).

The only problem I see is...unlike in the past any surge they have will not be as predicated on defense as it has in the past.

For me...the absolute best scenario is capturing the 4th seed and getting home court advantage in the first round. If they do that and have some confidence going into the playoffs after successfully navigating that brutal schedule, they should be alright.

Time for the Spurs to start putting some streaks together, and they're not gonna get much of a better chance anytime soon. Hopefully the Spurs don't come out of the their rest with slow feet.

Spurs are absolutely the worst when they have long periods of time off between games.

Seems to just take or Tony (or a combination) showing up to put us back the thick of it. Really not worried about Duncan this season. With Finley gone we can further weather Manu scoring streaky, just so long as he hands in the intangibles like he generally does. Maybe a couple times beating up an already punch drunk Hornets team is just what we'll need to put some W's in a row?
