are you serious?
Duncan and Ginobili will get their legs back for next season they will have alot of time to take care their bodies and they could feel younger next season.
we will get a great talent from the draft, maybe Evan Turner!
we should think for the future and this could give Duncan 1 or 2 more rings, David Robinson was 34yo in his first championship!
are you serious?
wow, and how the you want persuade Timmy to give up winning ?
How the are we going to get that? FFS
imho, this season is lost for the spurs.
the team has no realistic shot at the championship (with TP injury, that is for sure).
and it is to late in the season to "really" tank and get a decent draft pick.
Parker return one or two games before the playoff, take it easy please!..He has time to treat others wounds in your body
And let all of Holt's money go to waste... no!!!
Even if Spurs lose all their remaining games, their odds to get a top3 pick is 2.9%. Their pick be at 97.1% between 11th and 14th.
If Spurs don't tank, their pick will likely be the 19th one.
Tanking isn't a good option for Spurs, it's too late to do so.
Tanking the final quarter of the season to exchange a low playoff seed for a low lottery pick is something a Kobe-led team could do. Not gonna happen to a Duncan-led team.
That's not the Spews. They tank entire seasons.
missin the playoffs will hurt duncans legacy cause some ot will bring up the -ve of that year as an argument
Moving up a few spots in the draft is not worth the loss of revenue the Spurs would encounter from not making the playoffs.
This has to be the first time I've seen the board go all out meltdown during a 4-game winning streak.
Regardless, the Spurs aren't going to tank. Period. Not while they still have a compe ive Duncan and Ginobili.
That has never happened. If anyone is tanking in Texas, it's the Rockets. You are just bitter because your team is not going to make the playoffs, your franchise center has glass slippers and your answer for moving McGrady is Kevin Martin. Good luck with that. Enjoy that fluke win over the Spurs because it's going to be a long time before it happens again.
I thought he was serious until he said Evan Turner lol.at any fan thinking we have a shot at Evan Turner or John Wall. We're not THAT bad.
The Rockets tanked two seasons in row in 1982 and 1983 and drafted Ralph Sampson and Akeem as the #1 in those years.
In fact, the actions of the Rockets directly resulted in the draft lottery. This lottery allowed the Spurs to win the rights to David Robinson and Tim Duncan. So we should be thanking the Rockets for helping the Spurs win 4 LOB Trophies.

So much for raising the bar . . .
It's raising the bar.. and hanging yourself from it.
OK . . . Not sure why you are responding to me to repeat what should be common knowledge to everyone on this board. My point was that the Spurs never purposely tanked to get a lottery pick. You can thank the Rockets if you want, but I will decline to join in your convoluted walk in the fog where we "owe" the Rockets for our 4 les. I prefer to give credit where it is due.
By the way, it's Hakeem.
Not a Rocket fan. This site makes you choose a team or you can't join. I'm not 12, I don't have a favorite team, . Funny how some of you try to make excuses for "Your" team by talking about another team.
You know they tanked to get Duncan. Old news. If not, you're more stupid than I think you are.
Are you sure you aren't 12? maybe 10?..
