If Ginobili is laboring tomorrow and this team is struggling with the Nets, remember my words.

That being said, the latest best win of the season. Outstanding defense and the thing I like most is the confidence. I have not seen this type of confidence from the Spurs against good-elite teams in over two years. It sounds corny, but they look like they believe (with the exception of when they play the Lakers).

In a way he can control that, by limiting his ing minutes (which was a no brainer in this one), you lessen the chance for something like that to occur.

This guy isn't some young, athletic 20 something that can run all day. He's got to be managed. I understand the Spurs need wins and he's carrying them so he's going to play more obviously, but tonight he could have easily been kept right around 30 minutes, instead he's up around 36.
Okay got ya, Pop controls injuries. Look with the way Manu plays you would have to only play him 5 minutes in the 1st quarter, none in the 2nd or 3rd and only 5 more in the 4th. That is not happening.

I'm surprised by the score and how easily the Spurs controlled the game, but not surprised that they won. They're better than the Celtics now. It's funny how quickly things change in sports. Earlier this season, the Spurs weren't in the same league as the Celtics, now they're better than them.

If the Spurs can just somehow get through these final ten games without wearing down Ginobili, Duncan and to a lesser extent, Hill and Parker isn't too rusty when the playoffs start, then this team will be poised to make some noise.

Watch how the story of this game is framed on ESPN. They'll probably be no picture of the Spurs on the front page, instead it'll be all about the Celtics laying an egg after looking recently like they had turned the corner. It'll be about what's wrong with them, instead of what's right with the Spurs. ESPN has no interest in writing about the Spurs unless they can drudge up their same old, tired story about how they're done.

RJ gave some mad props to Manu after the game. So, does Manu stay a starter or go back to the bench when Tony comes back?

Finley did what we expected him to do- just stare at the man he's guarding, lol. I'm glad we released him, at least it gave Malik a chance of cracking the rotation. I'm tired of him guarding his man using his eyes.

So what is this about Manu's back? Is he hurt?

Nice win. I expect a letdown against the Nets....just hope they have enough to win it.

i think you bring him off the bench... our bench needs a much needed boost. and its not like it will effect his game...

So how's this going to play out when Parker comes back and he needs the ball in his hands? Clearly the Spurs work best with Ginobili handling the ball and making all the decisions, but doing that makes Parker useless.

Parker off the bench for Manu, with Hill guarding the 2? Just postulating.
