I root for the Blazers, but there are players around the league I like as well. LeBron, Kobe, D-12, D-Will, CP3, Duncan, Ginobili and several others are all very entertaining to watch.
So who here is a team fan or player fan. I for one am a team fan, I've watched the Nets since 1st grade and have liked certain players on the Nets over the years, but once they are traded or gone I could care less about them I might read about them every once in a while, but usually won't keep up with how they do on other team.

Spurs team Fan. As a fan I have seen many personal changes but have allways stayed a Spurs fan. Now I do have a favorite squad that being the 1990 squad. One of the weaker squads the spurs have had but to me I had the most fun watching.
Team fan, but firstly i'm a fan of the game.
Agree fan of the game but team comes first.
For example when everyone says Gasol was collusion ...I didnt care it benefited my team!
PLUS i knew Marc would be pretty good and also thought Crittenden could play (I was right on the former not so much on the latter)
I'm a fan of the game as well, first I became a Nets fan, but in 5th grade when I actually started playing basketball got into the game more, so now if it's a good close game I love them I could hate the players on each team, but if it's close really fun to watch, if it's a blow out not so much fun
For fans outside the US is really hard to become fan of a team if it isn't because of a player that plays in that team.
Fan of the game then fan of the Spurs ... and then the player.
If they are spurs long enough they become "forever one of my favorites" even if they play or not.
Like the admiral ,aj and sean . If manu got traded i'd still be his fan he is awesome.
I'm a fan of the Jazz. When Karl Malone left for the Lakers, I could've cut his off. Same with Fisher. The only player I would ever follow and cheer for them on another team would be AK47, because Utah is the place where his game died. He WAS the most fun athlete in the NBA to watch until Sloan did a number on him. I hope he stays in the NBA and doesn't go to some eruotrash team so I can watch him for a few more years.
D-Rob made me become a Spurs fan btw.
Team first, then player fan. Just so happens that my favorite players are on my favorite team.
