mason played fine. its on the big 3. tony tim and manu. all 3 need to play better. its as simple as that
I don't blame Parker for being a step slow physically, but I do think it is a problem when a player of his experience is a step slow mentally.

how else is he suppose to get used to the pace of NBA basketball?
he's been running and exercising for a while now, being in shape isn't the issue.. it's keeping up with the speed and positioning of basketball, he's been out for a while
he needs this time to adjust back to basketball, we don't have much of a choice - we can't put this in the hands of temple
For a player just back from injury, Tony´s very slow to do too much.![]()
He's out of game shape. He can use the first 10 minutes of the quarter to get back in game shape.
It was nice to see Mason make some shots, but his defense was beyond horrible and he made some silly mistakes..he isn't free of blame at all, nobody is..
He outplayed Temple in the 1st half by a decent margin though, I'll give him that, although he should always be doing that..
he can play the end of quarters... rather have him out there then temple or mason. obviously manu should have had the ball in his hands at the end there im not denying that fact. but were not down at half because of "tony parker"
Time to wake the up and quit acting like a bunch of Rasheed Wallace's.
the start of this 3rd quarter is the most important time left in this game. Spurs need to get off to a good start.
Make some FTs and keep feeding Duncan and the spurs should win.
TP is rusty guys, c'mon stop the hate.
This is Pop's fault, this is not the game for TP, he's getting owned by Nash, an all star guy playing all star bb. I care more about his speed, he might not have been in a gym this entire time, couse man, hes the slowest guy on the court right now.
His D still sucks tho, that's his fault.
lets go manu. take this over son.
I'm not saying not to play him. All I'm saying is that he doesn't necessarily need to close quarters.
rj with 12 at the half... watch him end up with 15.
SPURS:
Free Throws 7-18, 38% ?
3-pointers 1-11 9% ?
What we need is a full 100% bb ready TP, he will get that by playing. Dunno when, but i'd rather lose the game trying to make him get back.
TD gets fed right away.
It's nice to see Mason decide to show up tonight...too bad the Spurs are ting this game away at the FT line. Chip England continues to steal money from this team...
and the bs continues
Great D, Temple out of position..
