    Rams release Marc Bulger

'Tis the season for unloading expensive veteran quarterbacks.

The Rams announced the release of quarterback Marc Bulger Monday, ending an eight-year run with the team that began brilliantly but fell apart the last three seasons.

Bulger was scheduled to make $8.5 million next season and was never expected to be with the team in Week One. We're trying to figure out why they dumped him now instead of one week ago or after the draft.

With the first pick in the 2010 NFL draft...the St. Louis Rams select Sam Bradford from Oklahoma.

Bulger used to be somewhat serviceable, when the Lou's entire offense went to so did he.

He would make a good back-up QB for a team with a young starting QB.

Yep. I'm glad he's gone though...the Bulger era needed to end.
It's time for the Sammy Bradford era.

I could see the STEELERS taking a look at Bulger.....him being a PITT alumni etc....
Maybe the VIKES, depending on what Brett ing Favre decides to do.

I'm pumped for this years draft. RAMS drafting first on day two(2nd rd) will garner alot of attention from other teams trying to get their guy that may have slipped in rd 1.

Arizona makes a lot of sense and will force Leinart to compete for the starting job.

Pittsburgh wouldn't be a bad spot for him either, but I think Rapelisberger will still be there and will be able to play this season. The Steelers should draft a QB though, imo.

Arizona would make sense, if they hadn't already signed Anderson to a 2-year, 10 million deal... I'd still bring him in, and cut whichever of he and Anderson suck the most.

Tim Tebow would be the perfect answer. he Tebow/Harvey Florida Connection reuniting again. Plus he can be used in the wildcat and he brings spiritualism!

Favre is coming back. He's just waiting till training camp is over and the Vikings offer him even more money.

Minnesota might as well just offer him a new contract, making him the highest paid QB in the league for one year, and also put somewhere in there that he doesn't have to go to training camp. Favre would sign that deal tomorrow.

They're about three years to late with this decision.
