Spurs played better as the game went on, but can't keep expecting Denver to miss gimmes and easy easy free throws.

    Let's get it done

All in all it's the best half we could ask for a back to back.

Nice play by Manu. Hasn't been the prettiest game but I'll take being up by 5 at the half.

If you are the Nuggets, how do you take the Final step to win a championship? They have a lot of great pieces but can't seem to get over the hump. I think it might be time for Karl to go.
a good (big) passing post player would get them over the hump.

Pretty ugly game so far, but that goes in the Spurs favor. They really need to get up in those guys in the 2nd half. Try to annoy and frustrate those knuckleheads. The Thuggets will never be great because they are dumb.

Doesn't Manu play with RJ a lot?
Are you seriously calling RJ a penetrator?

Regardless of this game's outcome, this only reinforces why they're the preferred opponent IMO.

They have one ... they don't utilize him.

What they need is more professionalism and intelligence. If they downgraded their talent but addressed those two aspects adequately ... they'd be championship timber.

It might be because the 76ers starting center did not only play 4 minues in the first half? Just saying...

when he scores a lot of points it is from penetration, he sure is isn't a jump shooter.
Alright, maybe I need to reword it for you.

I am talking about a dribble drive penetrator. A guy that can create his own shot and get to the rack one on one. Rj certainly is not that.

Only two guys on the team right now that can do that and that is Manu and TP.
