If we could all lick our balls like dogs, we would never leave the house.WHO CARES,
he didn't get those minutes and it's silly to automatically assume just because a player gets a increased role that he's going to take off. Look at Trevor Ariza.....not every player can handle the role of being a go to guy/#1 scorer and the defensive attention that you draw being that like Brooks has been able to do.

So if Hill was given 6 more minutes, he would score 7 more points? Shut up.
Is he the top candidate? No. But you Rockets homers aren't being unbiased either. For much of the season Brooks was the best scoring option on a team full of 3rd options, much like Richard Jefferson last year. He has improved a lot, but it's not as black and white as you make it sound. Other than showing statistical improvement on a injury laden team, what else has he done? Gallinari has shown dramatic improvement as well, but nobody gives a .
Like someone said earlier, you haven't seen Hill's improvement. At first glance his stats dont warrant much consideration. In his second year he has become the best perimeter defender on the Spurs and put up impressive stats when Parker went down.
LOL, so Brooks was always the Rockets best scoring option.....let's just ignore the fact that the ball was mostly fed to Scola and Landry who happened to lead the league in 4th quarter points at one time and now he has Martin and Scola. Yep, Scola, Landry, and Martin (who has been one of the best scoring options in the game during his career) are strictly 3rd options.
This team isn't about set #1, 2, or 3 options...it's about ball movement and on any given night any player can lead the team. Brooks has just been the guy more often than not.
Obviously this is the least biased of all the picks.
If you took time to read my post you would see that I wrote "for much of the season". Yes, Scola and Landry are 3rd options (or 2nd at best). Led the league in 4th quarter points? What does that matter?
I don't even know what to make of that last paragraph.
Landry and Scola can be 2nd options in this league, they both have very good post games ( Scola has one of the best and most underrated post games in this league). All they need is to be green lighted.... Scola has pretty much has been a 20 and 10 player since Landry left.(nope, he can't be a 2nd option
)...and Landry has been averaging 18+ points a game since he left and got increased time.
The excuses SA fans use to elevate a guy who has no business being in the MIP discussion. G. Hill could very well be in that mix next season....but not this season, he hasn't done enough.

+1 there are better candidates for MIP, I personally think G. Wallace should win it.
I see you've missed quite a few Rockets games as well. For the record I've seen about 75 Spur games this season, and George Hill SHOULD NOT be in the MIP discussion.

Can you read? Or is your short term memory nonexistent?
You've misread my posts back to back. Go back and find where I said that Landry and Scola can't be 2nd options.
Stupid Spurs fans... thinking that G. Hill should be in the top 5.

Bogut + Gasol went out with injuries, how can you name an injured player MIP???
FAIL
it's clearly either Brooks or Hill
Durant for MVP, OKC almost won 50 games for crying out loud.
Bogut played 69 games.
Gasol played 69 games.
Noah played ... 62 games.
And Wallace missed games too.
What'a exactly your point? That a player can't win the MIP except if he's healthy in the last game of the season?
