7 minutes!
You gotta be kidding me, rudy! :-P Guess Portland decided to start playing in the 4th quarter. Piss poor close by the Suns, they can actually still lose this thing.
6 minutes.
19-point comeback already. Not good.
Wow, these 6 minutes can't go fast enough. Who's guarding Rudy?
Game 3. 6 mins left, and rudy is back to life lol
Good question. Suns doing everything they can to get portland back into it. Frye going 0-5 from 3 doesn't help.
Game over. Finally.
Jrich was unreal tonight. Felt bad the Portland made a push and forced Gentry to pull Dragic out.
J-Rich with a playoff career high and 2 points off his regular season career high 44.
The worst thing about the Portland comeback may be the Suns' starters not getting to rest the 4th quarter, with an almost back-to-back game coming up.
I strongly suspect this won't be the last time in this series we'll be watching Travis Diener subbing in.
Ya, I was hoping the subs could pull it, but they couldn't and Gentry wasn't taking any chances. They have homecourt back and blowing this one would have been devastating. I think Portland's rough play really bothered Dragic.
Maybe, but the lead didn't change much while he was in the game.
well good game phoenix, j rich went crazy.. hopefully
we can somehow pull a win out on saturday
on a good note for portland is that rudy finally has shown up for hte playoffshopefully that carries over to the next game and not j rich's jordan impressions
I think it's safe to say that Raja Bell would not have done what J-Rich did for us.
ya, JRich is an athletic scorer while Raja was an athletic defender with a 3pt shot as a bonus.
Great game, but the Suns really f'd up. No starter should have had to play the 4th quarter with the 1st half they had. Portland just became uber aggressive all of a sudden when the suns bench came in and rattled them forcing the starters back in who were probably wound down not ready to play more.
Also, I'm not letting nash off the hook. Rudy was his guy and ran off like 3 consecutive 3's that gave Portland confidence. Rudy's not going to kill you with layups and midrange jumpshots Stevo!!!
BTW, is the next game in Portland too? After 2 beatdowns I expect Portoland to throw the kitchen sink at the suns during their next home game.
I didn't watch the game continually because I had a report to write, but looking at the play by play I'm not sure what you're talking about. With all the starters in, Suns were leading by 24. Subs come in and Bayless makes an and1 just before the end of the 3rd. In the fourth Howard makes a shot, the lead is down to 19 and then Suns starters come back in and Portland cuts the lead to 11. After that Suns regain control.

There was a significant momentum swing when they started rough housing Dragic keeping the suns from getting into their offensive sets. Then the starters who didn't think they'd have to come back in had to be reinsterted making things worse momentarily.
Either way, this is good practice if the Suns make it to the second round to play the Spurs.
LOL, I hope so.![]()
pretending you're a Dragic fan, you find any reason to blame him for anything. Dragic had nothing do with Nash leaving Fernandez open and catching fire.
