I was looking @ some old threads and I came across this one
So who rides?
What do you have?
Way back when I had a Kawasaki 450 then went to a Suzuki 550 then a Yamaha 700
I haven't ridden in about in about 5 years ever since that old lady pulled out in front of me and totaled my bike.
I would love to get a Harley but I can't afford them
I'm looking at this one but, still just looking
2006 Suzuki Boulevard C50T

It's so dangerous. Getting a motorcycle definitely isn't worth it.
Depends where you ride - if you can get away from traffic and avoid the deer at night, I'd bet motorcycles are relatively safe.
You sound like my wife.

A co-worker of mine just got back from being hospitalized with 2 crushed legs from a motorcycle accident. The accident wasn't his fault and it was not a high-speed accident.
Your wife might actually be on to something.![]()
Riding those things on the freeway scares the out of me. But then again, so did Jeepers Creepers.
Motorcycles are bad.
I had several racing motocross bikes back in the day. Ended up with a 400cc bad boy. Damn near killed myself on it. I came off about a 60' jump and landed hard...was fighting the forks holding them straight and my right rotator cuff blew out. The forks slammed to right lock and I flipped on the front wheel...next thing I knew I was still on the bike about 10' off the ground, upside down, going 70+ backwards...![]()
If I got any bike it would be one like this
Im a chopper guy, not cruisers or crotch rockets.
Opted for the Dinette Set over the Harley, eh timvp?

When you have people close to you die in a motorcycle accident, then I guess you are more against it.
I've lost 3 ... and several others hurt. I just don't see how someone could take the risk.
I don't ride a motorcycle but if I did, it wouldn't be anything but a Harley. Screw those "rice burners," as my Dad calls them.
I don't but my step-dad does.
On this episode of American Chopper!
I can't stand that show.
harley all the way... that is what i ride.. been riding bikes since i was 5... yes, it is dangerous, been in many, near, near accidents... but i still love it.. it was so, soooo awesome riding downtown on the night the spurs won the championship!
My friend has a motorcyle and he took me on it. I was on the bike and he did a wheelie, I thought we were gonna fall back. My heart was racing haha and when he would turn it feels like your going to fall down, crazy .
Well, then perhaps I will get the freaking 2nd Spur that I deserve awarded posthumously.

Better up that life insurance, Jimbo.
My biggest fear is that people driving *regular* cars don't see them as well and end up causing the accidents more than the riders do. You can't control other people doing stupid on the road, but at least in a regular car you've got a better shot at getting out alive....
Just my opinion.![]()
