Defense was better in the 2nd. Not great, but better.

I don't see why people are ing about foul calls...7th seeds don't get calls for a reason. This is why HCA is so important, especially after the first round. We got lucky Dallas melted down despite all the calls they got...we won't be so lucky this time.

The score doesn't matter..Duncan looks horrible, which was also case towards the end of the series vs. Dallas..the Spurs have absolutely no chance if Duncan isn't playing like he needs to..he's the most important player on this team since he also has to rebound AND defend in addition to scoring..if he isn't doing that, like we saw in the 1st half, then the Spurs are going to get dominated in this series..the Spurs don't have another big man to help inside..
It's not like he's being defended by good players..Stoudemire and Frye are 2 of the worst defensive bigs in the NBA, and Collins is just a statue that has even less mobility than Duncan..

Hill having as bad a game as he had start of Mavs series and then he got going - Nash was unreal.
Could be SO much worse right now considering how awful we've been. At least there are still 24 minutes left to be played.
