Hill is not that good on the road.

And he has trouble defending quick PG.

I would certainly expect anyone to be a liability on defense when they aren't focused on getting defensive stops. Hill is a very good defensive player...but you could tell he wasn't focused on the defensive end. I'm willing to accept that Nash is just a bad matchup, but I've seen George D-up bigger guys like Durant and smaller quicker guards like Jennings.

Nash's craftiness definitely threw him off his game...but i could tell he was more focused on scoring than he was on doing the very thing that earned him so much floor time in the first place - playing defense.

It's one game. George Hill sucked ass against the Mavs the first two games of that series and bounced back. That's why you make adjustments.

And any guard with a hint of speed and athleticism can burn the Mavs. They were 29th in the league at defending PG's with their hilarious trio of JJ, Kidd and Terry.

I said after the Mavs series that Hill was the Mavs' Baron Davis 2010, and would come back down to earth the next series simply because it wasn't against the Dallas Mavericks, similar to Bdiddy vs Utah.

Be interesting to see if I continue to be right.
