The Spurs are failing at the basics: free throws, protecting the ball, and defending. These shouldn't be problems.
Spurs +11% on FG% and losing. like the first two games.

Phoenix is shooting 40% and winning.
This team has nothing left. Every time they get something going they fall apart and let the Suns right back in.
TURNOVERS AND MORE TURNOVERS!![]()
I just don't get it.
In seasons past we always played the three point shooters and allowed Amare to go crazy. It worked because the lost the extra points they gather by shooting their threes. Why have we abandoned this strategy. Also, the first quarter our D was very effective by running early double teams on Nash and then we stopped for no apparent reason.
Don't you have that backwards? Suns weren't hitting shots...
They're shooting 45% without Barbosa.
Nash is going to come down into the lane at some point, same with j-Rich and Barbosa...you cannot go for the bait and collapse on them.
I don't get it, did the Spurs just get full of themselves in the Mavs series? How the did we beat them?
Jefferson is playin pretty well, Why don't they give hima smaller type of roll like Manu's!? He's an excellent driver & he could create his own shot!
Spurs are absolutely awful at defending the 3...and that used to be one of their strengths.
Not fair to blame it entirely on Blair, although that moment was unquestionably the turning point of the first half.
It's as if the Suns and Spurs have switched roles. The Spurs are now the soft team that easily rattled.
And easily beaten...
How did we beat the Mavs again? Mind blowing.
Suns didn't turn the ball over 11 times, either.
Thats been the stroy of the series!!!
Manu has ac ulated some nice stats rebounds, assists, steals... but I have the feeling he is not there during this serie maybe the fact we don't see him attacking the damn basket.
That's because no one can stay in front of anyone, a lot of penetration they don't really need to go into Amare.
I just got a massive headache after watching Blair's missed layup
I'm not ready for the offseason.
Keep up the fight.
Please?
Manu hasnt played well at all this series and Hill has completely disappeared. Not to mention that the Suns are a better team than Dallas.
That said, we were 1-2 possessions and some toughness away from winning game 1 and game 3.
Suns are clearly the better team, and playing better ball.
They'd do better trying to run RJ off a series of screens because he isn't that good at creating his own shot....as someone mentioned earlier, he's good at driving on guys rotating to him but gets held up often beyond 2 dribbles. If they run him off of a few down screens it should yield some positive results.
I guess that defensive strategy was entirely dependent on Bowen.
all i can say is this. how bad are the Mavs?
