you are a silly little of a fan....whining nonstop all series and you want to call the Pens fans owned. Had the Pens won, all you would have done is cried all offseason about how Bettman and the refs screwed your Habs.

Props to the Habs for a great win....and to Halak for being a fortress in goal. Arizona needs that guy patrolling the border, .

Dont try to reason with a Pens fan, theyre new to this.
like the Wings dont get mad love from the refs.......in recent years they have been allowed to maul, rape, and almost murder out on the ice and hardly get a penalty called on them.

Hey, I can admit the Pens get their fair share of calls.....but a Wings fan shouldnt be calling out the Pens.....when they get just as many, if not more...

But I understand also, that teams that are known to be more physical and more aggressive get away with more. So I see no reason to and cry about it.

I wish Boston would hurry up and eliminate Philly......cause my only solace in the Pens being ousted is the Caps and Wings are out so far.....I just need the Flyers to join them.

You Sir understand the mind of Habs fan

    Thank for the kind words

Pens will come back stronger next season; Corsby will work a lot during summer
    But Fleury WTF

good win for the habs, i'll support them the rest of the way since my nucks are done
    Thank you

I was rooting for the Canucks and Ottawa (Canadian teams)

WTF happened with Alain Vigneau? why did he play Sammy Salo so much when he could barely move or shoot?

They have a momentum going on
But teams like Philly, Boston and the West champion (if we win the East, nothing is done yet) scare me most than Washington and Pittsburgh

They will wait for us, gone is the underdog status

The Krejci injury has really affected the Bruins...

Krejci's loss is huge; he is a talented mofo

The good news is that the Habs get some rest before the ECF start.

Man, we're gonna have trash talking between JudynTX and LnGrrr

Nah, no trash talking from me. I'll be ok if Boston advances. I'll have to root for them instead of the Habs.

The Flyers-Bruins started 1 hour later than Pens-Habs.

I read that the Vachovia Center crowd roared every time the Habs scored a goal (hey Flyers fans hate the Pens)
We scored the 4th goal during the U.S national anthem

    By the way

    Habs, Bruins, Flyers

Remember at the end of the regular season, when those 3 teams were neck to neck for a playoff spot?

    Now, they are ECF bound

    Cool fact:

The first ever game played at Mellon Arena was against the Habs in 1967.
    The Canadiens won that game.

The last game played at Mellon arena was game 7 vs the Habs

So Canadiens opened and closed Mellon with wins

(As the Pens will move to a brand new arena next season)

You must have me mistaken with someone who blames the refs for anything. San Jose whopped the Wings asses fair and square.

Refs had the most effect on Game 3, but really, thats it. Wings showed up to play in Game 4.

Beyond that, San Jose ate their lunch all over the ice.

Moreover, the Pens beat the Wings fair and square last year, too. Did the refs have something to do with it? No, penalties had something to do with it.

My only problem when it comes to conspiracy is scheduling and travel.

Of all the series to be delayed in the second round, why ing Philly/Boston? Why not San Jose/Detroit? WTf is so hard about traveling across one state instead of 3 timezones every-other day?

The Leastern conference is a ing joke.

Another problem...last year the Wings played the Hawks in the WCFs. They killed the Hawks the first 4 games (Chicago won a game, but you get the point). Going into Game 5, the Wings were informed by the league that if they win Game 5 (and thus the series), the Cup Finals would start 2 days after Game 5.

If they lost Game 5, no matter how many games the series went, the Cup Finals wouldnt start until 8 days ing later.

Mind you, this is the series Datsyuk got injured in Game 3, Hossa missed a game and Lidstrom had to have surgery on one of his testicles from getting speared (he missed Game 1 and 2, I think?).

The league ed the Wings in that situation. They were banged up, injured and completely unhealthy heading into the Finals. If they had got the 8 ing days between the WCFs and the SCFs, the Pens would be ringless, I guarantee.

As it were, the Wings won Game 5 and were playing Pitt two days later.

    I agree

    That was ed up.

Not to mention the ing back-to-back SCF names, just for NBC's eyes

    2 SCF games in 2 days......unreal

Damn, I thought this game was over after 3-0. Flyers played a uva game, thanks to too many players on the ice.

    Bring it on

Too many men on the ice

I'm wondering what Don Cherry is gonna say in the next Hockey Night In Canada broadcast

In fact, he was coaching the Boston Bruins when they were about to beat the Montreal Canadiens in game 7, as they had a goal 1 lead

Too many men on the ice, PP Montreal, Lafleur snipes it, OT, Montreal wins

    Karma huh?

It's going to be a physical matchup. I'm looking forward to Sunday.
