Don't care the reasons he was waived. Cardinals need to jump all over him. Even fat, he's a of a goal-line back. If they are going to be more run focused, then having him would be HUGE. Maybe even literally...
Couldn't even make Pete Carroll's team![]()

He sucks. Isn't Arrington a good goal line back? Wells seems a little too tall to be a goal line back.
Arrington hasn't been on the Cardinals since their SB year. Hightower is decent, but he's better catching the ball in space than fighting for extra yards.
I doubt he sucks. Maybe... but I'd guess its something other than on-field. He wasn't nearly as effective last season, but I doubt he's done. Too much talent.
Got the names confused. Meant Hightower, yeah.
Hightower is good space, but tends to go down with first contact. Wells has potential, but he's so upright, he's fumble prone from being stood up. White is a solid option if he can be had.
Wasn't enthused to begin with when we got him. Now we just need to cut the dead weight known as Julius Jones and we can start to work in youngsters like Justin Forsett and Louis Rankin....we can pick up a short yardage/goal-line bruiser later in the summer.
and to think he played for Carroll when he played for 'SC
Let go for being lazy & possibly due to a possible 4 game suspension for substance abuse violation.
On the bright side, Mike Williams seems to be making strides for SC.
I hope he keeps it up, especially when the pads go on. The receiver core is going to be pretty young/green for the first time in years with guys like Carlson (3rd year.....possibly the best receiver on the team at this point), Tate (1st year), Butler (2nd year), etc. in the mix pushing for serious PT....Deion Branch will be on IR at some point EARLY in the season as usual, Nate went to Detroit and outside of that we have Housh in his 2nd year with the Hawks adjusting to a brand new offense for the 2nd straight year. All hands on deck.
Just hope we don't stick with Julius Jones and totally discard Louis Rankin....he played a pretty strong game in limited minutes against AZ last year on the road when Jones went down and look beastly the few times I saw him play in Oakland.
