If you haven't joined a fantasy football league but would like to join one, I need eight more in the private league I setup at NFL.Com. The four members thus far are all Spurs Fans.

All you have to do is setup an account.

    Details below:

    League name: Spurs Fans United
    Password: admiral50

Cowboy fans are welcome to join, even though you guys are ugly. JK.

I will give you a general description of what FF is about.

Basically, you draft a team of 14 players to play against the other eleven members of the league. Every week you setup a starting linuep of seven players (1-QB, 2-RB, 2-WR, 1-TE, 1-K) and one defensive team to play your opponent. Depending on the performance of your starting players, you earn points.

Offensive points are rewarded for touchdowns, field goals, pass yards, rush yards, conversions. You lose points on offense if you throw a pick or lose a fumble.

Defensive points are rewarded for touchdowns, safeties, picks, fumble recoveries, sacks, points allowed, and yards allowed. There are no individual defensive players on your team. You draft a team defense.

During your weekly matchup, if you score more points than your opponent, you receive a win. If you don't, you receive a loss. If you tie, you receive a tie. The first fourteen weeks of the NFL season is considered the regular season and four teams make the playoffs, three division winners and one wildcard. Then the four playoff teams play to determine the league champion.

To draft your players, you need to setup your master list. We are having a live draft but if you can't make the draft, the computer will draft your team from the rankings on your master list.

The premium players, imo, are the quarterbacks. You should try to get a top tier quarterback in the draft. Also, you need to keep up with the injury reports. For example, Rex Grossman broke his ankle last night and is out for three to four months. He is a player you should stay away from. You should revise your draft list according to injuries.

If you want details about the rules and scoring, setup an account at NFL.Com. It's free.

Yes. We only need two more players to meet the quota.
