I think everybody owes Blanco an apology.

If Mexico wins the world cup, will it rival the Saints winning the Superbowl for New Orleans that gave the state a physcological shot in the arm after the Katrina disaster. With all the negative Mexicans are going through nowadays with drug bloody wars, and the negative press they have been getting in the US lately(with Arizona) that rivals the trail of tears. It would do wonders for the confidence of millions of Mexicans.
