Yeah, he missed a load of easy shots.
What in the heck happened to this guy? Has anyone ever seen a guy disappear after playing pretty much lights out in game 2? I have never seen anything like that in my life. I mean he was totally useless.
Yeah, he missed a load of easy shots.
Very off today, just cold the whole entire day. He missed easy ones that woulda put the Celtics on a roll and leading with a bigger margin.
HIs game needs to change...that running all over the place and have everyone standing there waiting for him to get open ain't gonna cut it. He needs to go to a team that has a low post player who can kick it out to him for the open J

I mean it wasn't just he started missing trey's, he was missing POINT BLANK layups with no one defending him. I just have never seen a guy get THAT cold that quick. It had to have been something psycological with him because I have never seen a degression like that in that short of amount of time.
Some team is going to vastly overpay for this guy
He should sign with LA in the offseason and come off the bench.
the weird thing is in 08 he was having a shooting slump just like this and some how started to hit shots entering the 08 playoffs
I might consider signing him to a 1year 3 mil or so contract if I'm Cuban. Then trade Terry and the Dust for best player you can get...those contracts are worth about 20mil. Caron comes off the bench and Ray Ray is your starting 2. He plays only 20mins a game

I don't see it. You know every GM in the NBA was watching this game/series. He will be lucky to make about 3 million next year.
^^^ see above....Mavs for 1 year and 3mil

Yeah this is my thinking too. In saying that I agree with Amare, I wouldn't mind him coming off the bench for the Spurs for the right price. We need shooters desperately.
And all in all, his defense on Kobe was at least decent.
you gots got the wrong guy to blame, i'm afraid. Ray did a fantastic job taking care of Kobe who had been literally frozen throughout 3 and a half quarters tonight. the inundation started striking the celtics at the monment when fisher equalized the game with an unbelievable 3-pointer.
Ray is gonna get the hate but he must have been dead tired guarding Kobe all game. KG and Pierce gave him no help at all late in the game. WHY did they keep giving Ray the ball?
yeah, Ray will be a wonderful signing for Mavs, especially considering the potentially ineluctable Mavs-Lakers duels. If donnie has got a good brain I think Ray will be the first Mavs signing this summer.
That point is true. Especially since Kobe didn't have to play defense on the other end.
cant underestimate the fact he is the oldest of the big 3.
I was talking about for the entire series outside of game 2.
Not the full MLE but Mavs should try and get him if for 1-2 year contract. Dude did play solid D....he needs to drop all that running around off screens.
