It is draft night in the NBA, and it seems the Orlando Magic are in the mood to make a deal.
Rumors of New Orleans point guard Chris Paul coming to Orlando for Vince Carter and Jameer Nelson seem to be more real than the Magic are saying.
Local 6 sports director David Pingalore, through his NBA sources, is confirming the deal could be completed as soon as Orlando Magic General Manager Otis Smith finds a third team for Hornets Center Emeka Okafor.
If for some reason that deal does not work, the Magic have a backup plan.
The Chicago Bulls sent Kirk Hinrich to Washington on Thursday, and according to Pingalore's NBA sources, he could be traded with Al Thornton and Randy Foye for Vince Carter.

this would be a bigger heist than gasol. and since the magic are not part of stern's inner circle, not going to happen.
carter is an expiring. his last year is a team option.

lol there are a gazillionen expirings out there and for sure better talent than "allstar" Nelson.
Are you ing kidding me? The Spurs need to trade Parker and Jefferson and take back some contracts like Posey and Wright if the Hornets want to just give Paul away.
Also, LMAO@Orlando finding a third team to take Okafor. Good ing luck with that.
