Richards looked pretty mobile running the floor. Probably shouldn't expect much more than a project at 49, but always good to have another 7-footer in the back pocket.

Lol I don't know why you guys are acting surprised. A Spurs draft is not Spurs draft without us drafting a player from overseas. At least we got a steal and a half in the first.

If you compare the Spurs success rate with picks versus the league average the Spurs do rather well. Sure we will have failures but the bust rate in the NBA is high to begin with.
At some point you have to accept they no know a of a lot more than most of us.
Carlisle rated JJ Barea ahead of beaubois last year.
