OK so you're right I did say it, and I still would be willing to bet it's true. Right now, Kobe has more international fans than MJ (or any other NBA player other than Yao for that matter) ever did. The jersey sales prove it, and the fact the NBA is more popular internationally now than it was back in 1984 proves it.
