you're right, but the real thing here is not necesarily mental toughness (pro players should be used to this) but tactics imbalance, that is what really s a team up as in exposing yourself.
Well not in Mexico's case but I couldn't agree more about Englands game this morning. A lot harder to get those 2 counters if England is sitting at 2-2 instead of 2-1.

It's simple, do you think it happens if the goal doesn't count?

To say that the goal wasn't a game changer is being ignorant.
Sadly, yes Mexico should still be concentrated on the game, but Mexico has had some chances to score too. After the goal the team has been fouling more, passes have worse, and the defense has gotten worse as well.

I'm telling you this team needs confidence to win, how is that goal not a punch in their confidence's gut?
I don't. We're not talking about a dissallowed goal or anything Mexico did on merit and didn't get. That goal was offsides on Tevez' touch, but the ball got there because of Mexico's defensive up. Osorio's up was a result of the crap defense you've been playing for sometime now, not an uncalled offside.

so to answer your question, yes, I think it was a punch to their confidence, any goal is but its NOT the reason for the second goal.

Either way, Mexico is playing well again and is still quite in this.

People will look at the final scores and they will never tell the story of how much a bad call can impact a game. They see 2-0 and think "Oh a messed up single goal doesn't matter then" but thats the most foolish ever because obviously its a lot easier to lose focus when you're in a 1-0 situation due to a bad call then if you're at nil nil and out playing the other team. You can knock a team for mental toughness but teams shoudln't have to play in these holes they don't deserve. Its an artificial hurdle to have to cross and honestly it is really putting some serious tarnish on this WC.

I hope Mexico can show some heart and get some goals in the 2nd half but they've seemed to have lost all focus.
so the second goal was caused by that artificial hurdle? Really?

I do agree with some of what you're saying....can't excuse that defensive up though

Did you see the cold blood running through his vains as he went through past Perez?
did you see that WIIIIDE open header he missed. Or the misses in the group
    stage.

Do you think drogba would of missed that?
Do you think drogba wouldn't have scored on osorio mistake?

I'm not saying he is not good, he is, but not great/world class. It's not abouta moment of brilliance, a world class striker has a world class feel for the goal ... RAUL is an awesome example... can you compare higuain's finishing skills with a young raul's? :-))

Plus higuain play out of position alot.
