That drunk driving incident has probably eliminated him from the equation.
I like him too, but he's very troubled..I doubt the Spurs go after him..
Defintely has the length most Spurs fans have been wanting for a wing player. I wouldn't mind if the Spurs got em.

He's reportedly been in many incidents in Miami and has had a lot of run-ins with Miami's front office..according to the media there, a lot of people there believe the only reason they still put up with him is because he's one of Wade's best friends..
His "incidents" all involve partying and groupies..

Even with his off the court issues, I like Dorell Wright as an option for Spurs backup SF spot. He is long, plays good defense and now shoot well 3 pointer.
His personal troubles should drop his market value which will allow Spurs to sign him.
I agree. Of all the wings available, he has the most upside and fills the Spurs biggest need. I hope the Spurs sign him.
I'd be surprised if the Spurs took a risk on him, but at very cheap he could be worth it.
If he didn't have character issues and would be willing to take the LLE, he would be such a perfect fit for this team. He's number one on my realistic free agent wishlist outside of Tiago Splitter of course.

My guess is there are too many teams with money and in rebuilding mode for the Spurs to hope Wright would sign with them for the minimum. Someone will go crazy and give him Jason Kapono money, or at the very least, Roger Mason money.
This guy needs to bulk up, to be a more effective defender.
