brilliant move, you can use the "it's for charity reason, and still maximize the spotlight"
My initial thoughts too. If he was going to dipset Cleveland, he probably is quiet about it, so he doesnt have to face the media, but this lets him look like a hero. Or maybe he uses this as a stage to explain to Cav fans why he is leaving. interesting..

I'd still be surprised and very disappointed if he stayed in Cleveland, but I guess it's starting to look more likely..Cleveland or New Jersey, hopefully the latter..I'd guess NJ, but I guess we'll see..
Not annoyed. Just surprised. I cancel ESPN when it isn't football season, anyways.
i can smell the sweat in your vagina from here
goodbye laker dyansty if it happens
Kobe was being an extreme media when he asked for a trade, making amateur tapes in parking lots, going to radio stations, calling out everybody..I know Laker fans like to ignore that part of history, but just saying..
This is the current era of players, they all have massive egos and love the attention, it's only going to get worse..
kobe is vanessa's and everyone knows it.
Or ing around about Bynum in a parking lot with some 'casual fans' that happened to have a 'hidden' camera...![]()
james is such a terrible person, using his fame to benefit the less fortunate. how dare he.Those sources said that James' representatives requested they be allowed to sell sponsorship for the one-hour special, with the proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America
You need superstars and "bigger than life" personalities. They are in every single damn sport. The hate for James, who by all accounts is a model teammate is ridiculous imo.
Sure, he loves attention and lives a lavish lifestyle, but most stars do. At least he balances that with being a selfless teammate and great locker room guy.
I didn't even know that King was doing it for charity..now it's even more brilliant..class act..
I agree with DPG, as we've said many times here..Lebron's a great teammate, he's never said a bad word about a teammate, even when the media has tried to bait him..he's never had any serious incidents, he always speaks very well about everybody..yet there are so many people that hate him..
That is a nice move on his part..didn't notice that..
Jordan announcing his return to #NBA in 1995 (via fax): "I'm back." LeBron's decision requires an hour-long special?
ing annoying idiot....enough with Lebron, Wade and Bosh....gtfo already

If he is going to do this is says he is going to the Cavs, I'm going to say WTF. At least it makes for some good drama
doesn't balance it with WINNING LES! he's more concerned with his starlight than anything else.
Shut up dummy. Just because no one cares about Cuban screwing Dirk over, doesn't mean this is not cool.
this guy is such a ing loser. I hope he stays in cleveland and places the blame for him sucking on the fans
I hope the press conference is somewhere like in Dallas or Detroit... i wanna see the drama
Give it time.
then magically, the Lakers get Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown.
David Stern.
