same things could have been said for the celtics in 2008. imagine if the celtics big 3 got together 6 years earlier. lebron/wade/bosh are unselfish players with wade and lebron being very good passers and well as scorers. they may not win it all next year but they will have five years worth of exceptions and trades to build a dynasty.
024, lickin' his San Antonio Heat chops.

As long as LeBron does not go to Knicks, I'll be happy.

I would prefer Bulls or Heats, then Chicago or Miami would perennially assrape LA

No..the same couldn't be said for the Celtics. Garnett is a big man...totally different concept..and he was a defensive beast. Ray Allen was a spot up shooter and Paul Pierce was a shooter/slasher. Lebron and Wade pretty much do the same exact thing, and need the ball in their hands to succeed. Not saying they won't win a ring..just saying it's not guaranteed. I wouldn't put my money on it.

So what's next? I'm predicting the following turn of events:

LeBron walks up to the middle of the stage and announces that he's staying with the Cavs. A beaming Dan Gilbert and ecstatic Byron Scott walk out to embrace LeBron and sign the contract right then and there. LeBron initially shakes their hands but, when their backs are turned, pulls out a steel chair from under the table and lays out both Gilbert and Scott.

As a stunned crowd watches, Donnie Walsh emerges in his wheelchair being pushed by Mike D'Antoni. To the sound of boos, they each deliver chair shots on Gilbert and Scott. The Miami Heat music plays and D-Wade and Bosh arrive. They challenge LeBron and his Knicks to a no-holds-barred match next week on ESPN. LeBron smiles and tells Wade he better watch his back.

As Wade looks puzzled, Bosh kneels and delivers a low-blow to Wade. As Wade writhes on the floor in agony, Bosh walks up to LeBron and they show gang signs to the crowd. Walsh announces that Bosh will take a 50% pay cut to join the Knicks. D'Antoni gets hit by debris from the crowd as the new Evil Empire makes their exit.

while true lebron and wade perform basically the same role, ray allen was hardly just a spot up shooter. he was too good. he slashed the ball in the mid range just as well as he could shoot. he's only thought of as a shooter because of his pretty jump shot. lebron and wade currently are greater than even allen and pierce at their primes let alone their 2008 selves. wade's midrange game is pretty great. bosh will be the primary shooter with chalmers hanging out at the 3 line. spurs have thrived with two great slashers in ginobili and parker. no reason to see why lebron and wade can't accomplish the same thing.
