Yeah we should probably abandon optimism and save cap room to catch the next go 'round of the LeBron derby.
Yessssssssssssssssss!

Mike Taylor on 760 just says he has MORE breaking spurs news coming up next.............................................
That's just stupid. Optimism is ok, but that's not what is going on here. People act like he's the second coming of 5-0 or Duncan when in truth, he may play 15-20 minutes a night and get us 6 and 4. He's NOT going to do in the NBA.
Matt Bonner![]()
Pessimism is ok, but that's not what is going on here.
...seriously need a 3point swingman...but going by all these reports, I'm betting RJ is being resigned next. Spurs are taking care of their in-house guys first.
That actually does make sense, lol.
Nobody is acting like he's the 2nd coming of Duncan. But he's the best player we could have acquired this year. He will help us in the paint, which is where we were weakest last year. Anytime my team acquires a good player, I'm happy about it.
Also I think 6 and 4 is very conservative.

you...you can be one of the ones screaming at the tv at how lousy he is and then blame pop for not giving him playing time. Dumb .
Jefferson will re-sign per 760.
contact agreement with Richard Jefferson.
It's just news on a new deal for RJ.
Why would I want him to have more playing time if I think he's lousy?U mad?Dumb .
He will? Really...![]()
cuz that's what people do here when a player they have high hopes for sucks. they go blame it on pop for either not giving him minutes or destroying confidence. and no...i'm actually amused.

SOURCES: Spurs Reach Agreement with Tiago Splitter
By: Jim Bob Breazeale and Mike Taylor
Ticket 760 has learned that the San Antonio Spurs have reached a contract agreement with Tiago Splitter. He is expected to sign the deal on Monday. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Matt Bonner has also agreed to a 4-yr extension with San Antonio. He is also expected to sign his deal on Monday. Terms of Bonner's deal have not been disclose, but the Concord Union Leader reports that it should pay him annually more than the $3.2 million he earned least season.
I'm amused you didn't answer the first question. Go ahead and curse at me some more to show how not mad you are.
either way, the Spurs need another SF/shooter, that still hasn't changed even when RJ opted out
4 more years of matt ing bonner. great.

manu foul
also, I wouldn't throw the term "worst day in team history" around too loosely after what happened to Cleveland.
like Mike Taylor said, the Spurs need to make a sign and trade to get another SF, we have too many bigs now and SG/PG, only 1 legit SF.
Actually he said SPURS history. What happened to Cleveland has nothing to do with Spurs history.
