I own a Sanyo 7400 and my carrier for 3 years has been Sprint. So far it has been the best cell I've had. The first cell I owned was a StarTac and that thing was like a roach. It never died! Then I bought an ugly-ugly phone, the Qualcom 8200 with Verizon. Then I bought a Samsung A600 swivel phone, sold that and got the Sanyo 7400. I like everything except the MobiTV is overhyped! It doesn't have the NBA channel, either. The video it takes is decent and the reception is fine but I wish it had a flash memory slot.I like that I can change the faceplates.I bought the ones sold by the Sprint store and I also have a black one I bought from a friend. The exterior is rugged and so far I've had it since it first came out in December 04 and it looks like new. When I'm on the go and unable to see a Spur game I have text messaging to be updated on the quarter by quarter scores and ofcourse the web. I am still looking forward for cell phone makers to get real TV and satellite quality video in these little things. I've had to be at several events where text doesn't cut it! I was about to buy the Samsung I600 but not worth the price for the lack of features.
Todays newer phones are getting uglier by the month.I do like that megapixels, sound, video are getting better.Service (Sprint)has not caught up though for us Sports fanatics.

So what do you all use?

I have a Sprint Samsung Picture Phone.
I'm a communist. I don't own a cell phone.
I have a 3 yr old Samsung freebie from t-mobile.
it;s my moms phone.
when I had my daughter last year she stayed with me for 2 weeks and used MY cell phone sooo much every freakin morning that my bill was $890 and I couldn;t pay it and lost the account.
In 2 years i had never ever gone over my mins. I had sooo many min.s (i was on verizon) that I never came close to going over. But my mom managed to do it in 2 weeks.
But i love my mom.
and to make it up to me she gave me her phone line and paind the bill for 1 yr.
Pretty soon we'll be switching to a Nextel buisness account. (my mom gets a discount)
I'm gonna get the i760, and emo is going to get the i355

I have a friend whose wife ran up the cell phone bill to $1300! I told him to get her one of these unlimited minute plans or get rid of the phone.I also told him to check the list and make sure there's no Sancho.
I have 1500 minutes under an employee plan which is too low to mention here in the forum. Thing is I don't work with that corporation anymore.I still kept the plan. shhhh!
by the way does anyone know how to take a phone picture and paste it on this forum? please exlpain.
I can send it to my computer to Yahoo pictures but then what's the next step.
thanks!
if it's hosted at tyahoo the simplest wya for me would be to just right click , copy the properties, and paste that info between the [img] [/img] tags in your post here.
I'll try it later. I don't want my information to come out on the link though. So I'll have to test it.
thanks!

The Samsung MM-A800 (SPH-A800) is a unique slider phone, allowing users to capture two-megapixel still images and VGA-quality videos, listen to digital music files, and text message at lightening speed with voice commands and dictation, all in one intelligently designed device. In addition, the MM-A800 has a TransFLASH memory card slot (32 MB card included), auto focus, 2.5x digital zoom, flash, color adjustments, fun frames and multishot.
This is what User & I both have, with upgraded 256MB cards.![]()
I've got a Motorola V710. It's a good phone. It's got (crippled) bluetooth, transflash slot, a megapixel camera (it's a very crappy camera though, even for a phone), and it's trimode. The RF is excellent.
I've also owned a Sanyo 4900 and an LG VX4400 (a great phone in its day)
I currently have service with Verizon. I sold both Verizon and Sprint and had Sprint as my carrier for a time. Sprint screwed me over in a huge way and I'm familiar with their customer service and network, so I advocate against Sprint whenever I have the opportunity.
I'm more of a CDMA guy than a GSM guy.

I had my first Star-Tac for six years. When it finally fell apart, I got on ebay and found a brand new one there, which I've now had for six months. I love this phone.
I'm thinking of switching to the Motorola Razr, but they don't have a model for Sprint. In fact, it seems like Motorola and Sprint don't do too much together anymore.
There's a Nokia coming out soon that I have high hopes for. It will probably cost 800.00 though. It is a candy bar style phone that then folds open to provide a qwerty keyboard and nice, wide screen. If they've figured out how to hold a couple hundred MP3's at the same time, I'm buying one.
I've had my motorola v730 forever...it's been decent to me cept for somehow I got water in the battery and had to hassle Verizon to replace it for free. But anyhow, I'm in the market for a new phone since my contract was completed they are offering me a free upgrade.
I've looked at the Motorola E815 and was pretty excited about it, until I went into the store to check it out. It felt too light to me and it was kinda bigger than what I expected. So I've x-nayed that one.
Can anyone on Verizon suggest a phone? I don't really have any specifications...just that it has speakerphone and an outside display, a camera would be cool but not required.
BTW, I always see the word bluetooth on cell phone boxes or commercials. What exactly is "bluetooth technology"?

I own a Nokia 3300. It has a keyboard and plays MP3's. It also has a built in AIM.
I came really close to buyin that when it first came out, how do you like it?
i have sony-ericsson Z500 video phone, not great reception, but the things built like a brick, its pretty much indestructable
I just got a new LG from Verizon. Since we can't have cameras at work (no pics allowed at the plant), it looks like it's got a subwoofer in it. This phone is way better than the POS Samsung I had with Sprint.
