Backcourt dilemma
This is how I would line them up, as roster is currently constructed:
PG - Ramon SessionsSG - Mo Williams ...
Bench:
PG - Daniel GibsonSG - Anthony Parker
Offensively, Sessions will be the PG; the main primary ballhandler to break down defenses and make plays.
Mo Williams is the better shooter, so he'll be playing off the ball opposite Sessions...
Defensively, I would have Mo Williams and Ramon switch; Mo will defend the PGs while Ramon, who is a little taller and longer can defend the SG. In games where the opposition has a dominating, quick PG like Rondo or Rose, then I would try sticking Ramon on them with Mo on the SG.
Second unit, as currently constructed, would have Boobie running the point and AP as the SG...
However, in my opinion, Boobie plays much better off the ball (essentially the way Mo Williams plays)... so I'd prefer to have brought in another PG to be the backup PG with Boobie playing the SG, thus discarding AP or having him as relief at SF or third-string SG...
Maybe once West or Telfair get waived, WE might consider bringing one of them back in to be the backup PG. Or we'll just stick with Boobie/AP and work with it...
