that pop was close to getting spree for malik and steve smith last year....but he thought wiser of letting malik go. of course that's just what i read/heard somewhere so it could be bull .
i'm glad malik is here. if brand was to be a spur, i'd just wait and trade rasho later...sure, tim would be the only 7 footer other than willis, but i think the spurs could live with that.
