Well Joe, I think we each have our own destiny.

I could say what I feel proves that for me, but I don't feel I have the authority to say what proves that for another.

Exactly, therefore I do not judge others as to whether or not they have an open heart. Even non-believers can be compassionate, loving, caring human beings. Yes, even mouse...but beware of those "deals".

Non-believers in Christ will never be truly loving people.

You know that's offensive to non-believers, right? Just making sure you know.

Also, there's no logical way to prove that statement, anymore than if I inserted a different god into that statement (non-believers in Jahweh, Vishnu, Odin, Allah, Flying Spaghetti Monster, etc etc)

I am a true believer in Christ and even I may never reach that pinnacle.

Only God and Christ were perfect.

True Christians do not judge. They lead by example. They lead by following.

They lead by walking the walk. Talk is cheap.

That is where we differ for I do not believe that non-believers cannot be truly loving people because as a Christian...who am I to judge? We all walk the walk cheaply.

He does not want people to admit they are weaker than Him, He has only shown us that our true strength lies within our alliance with Him.

And with all due respect, your wife does not need your income to eat. I'm sure she would find a way. It is a good thing that you don't force her to acknowledge anything though... I find my household is more peaceful when I acknowledge wifey as the boss, as I feel she is wiser than I.

As far as being True Love... well as the OP pointed out, God wasn't very loving in the OT, unless you consider it really, really tough love.

If one is not a true believer, than they will not carry their cross to their own crucifixion. This is the only way to salvation.

I am not saying that non-believers are incapable of showing love.

Lucifer is capable of showing love.

But he is also very capable of showing hatred, wrath, selfishness.

True Christians consciously rebuke these traits 100% of the time.

Non-believers do not hold themselves to such high standards.

We are ALL sinners and very capable of showing hatred and misunderstanding. Just look at the debate over a mosque.
