If Barkley had been drafted by the Lakers he would have 3 les, and played a minor role, 1985, 1987, and 1988. I don't think he would have been enough to get by the Pistons in either 1989 or 1990, and certainly not enough to get by the Bulls starting in 1991, even if Magic didn't contract HIV.
