Leandro Barbosa=MVP of this game, without his dumb ass jacking up stupid ass shots Brazil surely would've won this game.

Brazil was on the verge of an epic comeback until the tandem of Lakovic and Barbosa stepped up and secured the victory for Slovenia.

We win, 80-77. Phew what a relief, I thought we were going to choke this away.

so close. barbosa killed our momentum. splitter huge in the second half. brazil took too long to figure out the best way to defend which was a 2-3 zone. .

i only saw the 4th qtr, but i think it's fair to say that brazil shot itself in the foot by playing barbosa too much. his numbers are pure crap. in other words, if crap was a drug, then reading barbosa's production gives you a great fix.

Anyways, Splitter looks like he's a much better player than Varejao just based on this game... I know Varejao just came back from an ankle injury so I'm not entirely sure how much better Splitter is than Varejao, I hope Anderson gets back to 100%...

As much as I hate to see Barbosa on the floor for Brazil, he is still there best option for a W..There back up players do not seem to be very good and none can do anything except shoot spot up 3's. Barbosa is Brazil's only wing player (and maybe the pg) who can create his own shot

you Memi Bečirovič. You'd rather play Lakovič. You stupid idiot. Lakovič right now can just shoot trees and nothing else.
    you MEMI.

Why the do we always get pathetic coaches, why!??!

Oh and even Beno for thinking he's a superstar.

    6-19
    0-4 on 3pt shots
    5 turnovers
    1 assist
Dragic was trying hard to match him:

    3-7
    0-3 on 3pt
    4 turnovers
    0 assists

Fortunatelly he also doesn't flop as Varejao.

I still think Memi sucks. And Lakovič just showed that he can shoot just threes. Once they go in and once they don't.

And Slovenia always rocks in the first round, lets just hope we won't have a bad day against Australia.

everyone knows that anderson is a defensive player - finishing no 1 in charges drawn some years ago. as we saw today (again) splitter is a good offensive option; however, we have to wait and see how his defense on nba players looks like. i am hoping for a performance similar to an average starting center - because his offense is a little better than that.

He used to have a great mid-range jumper, I don't know what happened to it.
