Not the flashiest guy, but really efficient

Madrid won a club record 96 pts last season, I don't think Pellegrini is as stupid as you think. Besides, if Madrid is considering selling Diarra is 'cause Mourinho isn't too interested in playing him.

Barcelona's sleazy tactics in respect to acquiring players this off season are getting ing annoying. Puyol opened his big mouth during the whole Fabregas deal, and now Messi with Mascherano. They won't accomplish anything by talking so much

Liverpool and Barcelona agree fee for Javier Mascherano

I don't like Mascherano, but i guess Barca needs to fill the gap left by departure of Yaya Toure.

Mmmh, Barca has only 18 profesional players on its roster, so yeah they're kind of short on players to use.

I'm happy that Mascherano will play in Barca, too bad Di Mari ended up in Madrid, the more Argie players in that Barca team absorbing that kind of play would help the NT, Messi needs to lobby for Pastore and Banega next

We definitely had a hole after Yaya left so although I'm not a big Marcherano fan I hope he can come in and lock down possession in the defensive midfield.

I had high hopes for Ibra, but with David Villa now on Ibra is a bit redundant. Maybe both can have damn good seasons though, would be nice.

It's almost certain that Ibra will go to Milan, but if he doesn't I too would like to see him have a better season than he did last year. He's much better than that

Seems like the deal is done, according to Goal.com

Milan And Barcelona Finalise Zlatan Ibrahimovic Agreement - Report
    By Adam Scime
Milan have reached an agreement with Barcelona for the transfer of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The transfer saga appears to be nearing an end after agent Mino Raiola had earlier announced his client was very close to joining the Italian club.

The Spanish giants have reportedly agreed to a one-year loan, with the Rossoneri having the option to buy the player after that with instalments over four years.

It was originally believed to be three years, but the Blaugrana made the concession in order to offload the Swede's high salary as well as a potentially unhappy player.

The transfer fee will reportedly be in the region of €40 million. Meanwhile, he will sign a four-year contract and earn in the region of €8-9 million per season at San Siro.

It is expected that Ibrahimovic will be in Milan on Saturday and all the necessary paperwork will be filed to complete the transfer.

Goal.com have always been known to report stuff prematurely, so if this turns out to be one of those reports, don't shoot the messenger.

Finally it was about ing time:

    Hassan Yebda moving to Napoli

    http://www.portugoal.net/index.php/m...serie-a-switch

    Yebda makes Serie A switch

Midfiedler secures loan move to Napoli

Hassan Yebda will play for his third league in three years as the midfeilder will test the waters in Italy with Napoli.

The move comes as little surprise as the Algerian international never figured into Jorge Jesus' plans as the player spent last season with financially distressed English club Portsmouth.

Due to Pompey's dire economical situtation, the now Championship outfit could not afford to hold onto the former Le Mans player, forcing him to return to Benfica.

Napoli do have the option to make the deal permanent should Yebda impress at the Stadio San Paolo.

And also Halliche is joining Clint Dempsey at Fulham

I was hoping for something from Ibra, but I can see where he would be disgruntled and he really is redundant with Messi and Villa up front.

It's official, Ibrahimovic is an AC Milan player. Can't believe I'm actually excited about him, but I guess it's what you get when your club doesn't do the entire summer. Got this quote from a different board: "Great, now Ibra will have played for 5 different clubs who have won European Cups, while he has none"

    per acmilan.com
