Now I know this doesn't make sense to you le-less Mavs, Suns, and 3 1/2 ring having Spurs fans, but for Laker fans who already have 16 of them, what's one less when you can see a Laker player do the unthinkable and average 60 points a game in the Finals?
Doing so would, essentially, be bigger than the le itself. Besides, we Laker fans know we're going to win more, but 60 points a game from the Mamba? I'd rather see that.

A 30 ppg NBA finals average is quite amazing. Averaging 60 ppg Kobe would have to take nearly every shot and that would take his team out of the game. If he did that the Lakers wouldn't even be in the NBA finals.
These players when they win NBA les are so fortunate to have sweated and worked really hard to get there and achieve it.
All that matters is that the NBA le is won, wether it's ugly, flashy or what not.
That's nonsense. The Lakers are the winningest franchise. They have been in the most NBA Finals. Why not beat the Celtics, or at least tie them, so they can no longer claim superiority? That, to me, would be more important than 60 ppg by a player in a series.
