did you see the other games?? im not familiar with his game but from what i saw he doesnt play like this much
Scola can play as a the focal point, or as a role player and plays just as hard at both.
He is willing to subjegate his ego for the good fo the team, that is extremely rare.
He is happy with 12-8 as he is with 20-10 as long as the team wins.
I am so happy the Rockets didn't get in on the Bosh sweepstakes, Scola fits our team better.
Viva LUIS !

Seriously? Look, I dont want to take anything away from Scola/Argentina, but some calls Scola got in the paint and another flop from a Delfino drive...
The ref was bad, for both sides. But I thought Argentina got the benefit of the doubt a few times.
Scola will just love it to go back to Houston with Brooks and Martin in the backcourt
Scola is a ing beast. Anyone who still discuss this is a plain re .
Argentina's mental toughness is amazing.
PS: Bring Fabs back

RT @dmorey: Scola goes into video game god mode to finish off Brazil. Wow (CAN'T BEGRUDGE GIDDINESS OF DORK ELVIS AFTER SCOLA'S 37 AND 9)
i bet toronto fans are feeling pretty ty w/their MVP acquisition is there even any real basketball fans over there, i doubt toronto even knows they signed barbosa lol?
Obviously there's a Rapist in The Fiba Championships.
Hide yo' kids, hide yo' wife and hide yo husbands cuz Scola rappin' errbody out here.
everyone knows Scola is a beast (I knew he would when he was dominating Team USA in the Worlds '02) and the ones that say he isn't just say that because he isn't with the Spurs
Scola thing still hurts, but i'm glad this is over, now Splitter can rest and learn the Spurs system. They needed 2 people all throughout the game to stop Splitter and Andy had no chance of stopping Scola.
sad but true
Scola is a beast
He's been like that for the whole tournement.
Even Billups had hard times.
He won the ACB teaming up wonderfully with Splitter.
It is a great tribute to the Argies defense they cut the passing lanes on the Huertas-Splitter PnR, and when the ball got to Barbosa, it was all over.
Great great player Huertas.
Watching Scola play like this kind of hurts but at least Splitter is still healthy. I cannot believe how predictable Barbosa is as a choker.
lol Rockets
i waas rooting for brasil but yeah andy V's flopping on both ends of the court is pretty frustrating he falls about every 3 minutes
Too bad Houston did the Ariza trade
Brooks
Martin
Ariza
Scola
Yao
And one ball...
wow im guessing some teams going to pick him up esp after this game, he showed great heart even in the last seconds
Barbosa is perfect for toronto. Their idea is to give a chance to whomever has played in the NBA at any given time.
Nice for Spurs that Splitter get a little more rest before the start of the season.
PS: Scrubla sucks.
Some people will certainly tell you that his game will "not translate well in the NBA."
Whatever that means.
supposedly Ariza and Brooks were having a little of a power struggle. Lee is a defensive team minded player. Plus rockets pick up trade exception and save a ton of money.
That was unreal by Scola... :O
oh and for those worried about Oberto guarding Splitter well......hmmmm last time I checked Oberto has experience guarding/playing with one of the best bigmen ever in the NBA
Tough luck for Brazil but I'm gonna side with the greedy Spurs fans on this one: just less games for Splitter to get hurt in.
We officially have a new Whott.
