So I guess this isn't a thread where we can pay respects to the people who lost their lives.

It seems like a thread where people discuss how we brought this upon ourselves.

Just like all the fire fighters who died that day doing their job, they brought it upon themselves.
    QFT!

What is the point on posting anything intellectual here anymore?

On that note I can't believe it's been 9 years already, it still feels like it happened today. God bless the families and those that were involved or perished on that day. I will not ever forget.

No, that day is when Kennedy was shot & killed in Dallas.

We've been kinda driftin' in the winds ever since.

I was in Seattle on a business trip. Staying at the Residence Inn in Lynwood. The one time I didnt pack extra clothes ... Im at the breakfast area getting some food. Everyone is packed in front of the TV and I just figured Bush was on TV talking. I grab a USA Today to sit down and enjoy my day and it dawns on me how quiet the lobby is. So i walk over to the TV and ask the guy next to me ...."what's that?" He says "that USED to be the World Trade center ...". My heart sunk, and I was in shock. I was born in Brooklyn and have lot's of family there(NYC) including an EMT. I was stuck in Seattle for days, but I could care less ...my home city was grieving and I felt for them.

Cheers to the men and women who gave their lives or had it taken by some misguided souls that day. And God bless America ...

No it doesn't at all....and I sympathize with the loss...but this is the price we pay....not everyone is a coward and afraid of the US...while I disagree with what Osama did as an intellectual I have to marvel at his planning genius of pulling it off and having the balls to stand up to the US like that...that was brilliant...evil but from a war strategy standpoint brilliant....never been done in history...

All Hussein Obama had to do was stop the war.

    He's expanded it

We're still losing children in Iraq.

    Big shot.

and allow what happened after the Russian - Afghan war to occur again; namely the rise of the Taliban...if Bush went after Bin Laden like he was supposed to Hussein Obama wouldn't have to clean up his mess...then again even when he was in school Bush wasn't too bright...

You call Obama affirmative action and I call George Bush Legacy Based Admission. in all cases Legacy Based admissions dumb down the curriculum because it's based on Dad's pocket book...whereas affirmative action is make the grade or receive the cut...

I'm just so ing gutter and brilliant all at the same time...

I don't expect most to understand what I'm referring to Cully but I know you're smart enough to get it...

But actually, I'm talking about how the Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmed Bashir offered the arrest and extradition of bin Laden, and intelligence data about Jihad, Hezbollah, and Hamas, trying to end terrorism. Clinton failed to act. Didn't think it was important enough

Don't be re ed. Nowhere in Islam does it encourage a woman getting stoned to death. It is purely the government in power interpreting the koran to suit their needs
