I'd stay away from it from that standpoint.
What's the over/under?
Horns are 3 pt favorites heading to Lubbock this week.... I know the Horns haven't looked to great so far this season but Tech?
I'm about to load up on the Horns
Thoughts?
I'd stay away from it from that standpoint.
What's the over/under?
Too much unpredictability for my liking. I'd steer clear.
Lubbock = the Twilight zone of college football. You never know what could happen. Very unpredictable game.
They lost to A&M last year by 20 in Lubbock, and then destroyed my Sooners by 28 in Lubbock.....right after we dropped 60 on A&M![]()
Tech returns basically all of it's starters on the offense at QB, RB, and WR.
UT is basically starting over.
Which means Tech could easily lose by 30.
Honestly, I might put a small chunk on Tech +3 because I have a strong feeling the line will move closer to even by Saturday and I think it will be a close game, if not a win for Tech.
I'd like to say that Tech has more stability under Tubbs right now to avoid those types of games, but he played the Leach card and went for it on 4th down in Tech territory against SMU.
....and then there's the cement leg Potts factor....
by all means go for it.
Ut 24 TT 17
Not hating...............just mho
I could see that. UT is gonna have to force some turnovers and win a low scoring battle imho. As experienced and explosive as Tech is, Potts is not that great and they can be very sloppy at times and UT can capitalize in a hurry.
At the same time, Tech defense will be pumped up and those fans in Lubbock are downright ruthless and will be all over Gilbert. I think he will struggle. I remember one time an A&M player went down for an injury against Tech, and the crowd erupted. Easily the worst fans in college football.
while i think texas can just cover on this one i also know that tech is capable of winning this one. not an easy bet at all.
