The Spurs have had an all white team for the past 10 years or so. No true "black males" on the entire roster.

jordan is well-liked cause he is arguably the best to ever play, he practically gets a pass for whatever bull he does.

Even though he is "black", duncan hasn't done anything stupid to make the fan perception change. It isn't that he is well-liked, more like no one bothers to hate him because he has nothing you can pick on, with the exception that he is "boring" to the casual fan. His off-court actions hasn't affected his public image negatively, as of yet. The little known fact that he also enjoys playing video games also somewhat connects him to the fans. Hey, maybe i can play halo reach with him sometimes.

Cham is a great rapper, people don't like his music because he actually talks about stuff in his songs. He's not like Wayne, Drake, 50 cent, etc. He's a good dude, I don't think he'd lie about something like that.

Even then, he's been able to make around $20 mill with NO help from anyone, he pretty much launched Paul Wall's (Paul turned his back on Cham) career and destroyed Mike Jones' career.
