! I can't believe this keeps happening to us?!
One out of our four centers is healthy now.
Blazers curse strikes again.
Look on the bright side. All these big men that keep getting hurt could have actually been good players. Thankfully, they all suck so it's not nearly as bad. If guys like Pendegraph or Oden or Camby were actually good players, that would really suck.
Oh, that's the guy who's better than Splitter.
Marcus Camby look out ....
No centers are gonna want to sign with Portland. It's a curse.
I told ya last year Tlong, to quit with the Bynum jokes.Taking joy in opposing players injuries always comes back to bite ya.
I hope he recovers kid was nice in college. And the good news is though small up front the Blazers are still a pretty deep team.
TLong's in the black when it comes to injury karma
TBH, I thought this was going to stop once Pritchard left, but it must be something else...
I feel bad for t. He's a solid citizen. A fine youngster. One of my favorites.
there seriously needs to be some kind of scientific study carried out over there in portland.
The basketball gods are obviously far from finished with the Blazers. Can't say I don't blame them.
Must be a curse bestowed by the Karma Gods upon Paul Allen and his Vulcan Army.
Somewhere Pritchard is drinking heavily - and smiling.
Not Selecting Jordan curse
NBA 2k11 curse
Hope he comes back okay.
Blazers F Pendergraph to have surgery
Portland Trail Blazers forward Jeff Pendergraph will have surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right knee.
Pendergraph was injured Thursday night in a preseason game against the Utah Jazz. An MRI on Friday showed he tore his anterior cruciate ligament.
A timetable for his return was not set by the Blazers, but Pendergraph used Twitter to tell fans he was done for the season.
“Tough news today y’all, I’m out for the season with torn ACL,” he tweeted.
Pendergraph averaged 2.7 points and 2.5 rebounds in 39 games, including four starts, as a rookie last season.
The 6-foot-9 forward, who played for Arizona State, was the 31st pick in 2009 and acquired by the Blazers in draft-day trade from Sacramento.
His injury hurts the Blazers, who were going to use him to back up Marcus Camby at center while Greg Oden and Joel Przybilla continue to rehab knee injuries.
The Blazers said the surgery would occur in the next few days.
“Jeff has been playing well and has been a big part of the team, so this is an unfortunate setback,” Blazers general manager Rich Cho said. “With his work ethic and determination, we know he’ll work hard in his rehabilitation to return to the court.”
This is Jeff ing Pendergraph people, let's not get carried away.
Then Oden, then Camby...
Before long, the Blazers and their fans will rue the day that Juwan Howard bolted to Miami. Maybe they already do.
Portland makes Houston look like the healthiest team of the decade.
