Yep, we are just a little ole 42-40 squad from last season, nothing to worry about.

C'mon guys, it's the rockets.

Damn the excitement among Rocketfan over this is hilarious.
Who's the go to guy on Houston?
Aaron Brooks makes it all go, but we have talent up and down the roster.
Kevin Martin
Yao Ming
Luis Scola
Chase Budinger
So many ways to score points.

Exactly, we have so many versatile options. Our top 7 players are better than the Lakers best.
If we don't win the le for the next 7 years in a row something is seriously wrong,
7's the key number here. Think about it. 7-Elevens. 7 dwarves. 7, man, that's the number.
7 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea.
It's like you're dreamin' about Gorgonzola cheese when it's clearly Brie time, baby. Step into my office.
why we even talking about these two scrub ass team? all about the heat s
The Lakers went 5-2 without Kobe last year(ignoring the last 2 meaningless games of the season against scrub teams, where nobody is trying)..The only 2 losses came @Denver by TWO points, and against Boston by ONE point..
They had wins @Utah, @Portland and against San Antonio..extremely impressive..
They ran their offense primarily through Gasol, so I find it kind of funny when Kobe gets too much credit for Gasol's success, which is pretty much all the time..
rocket's are going to be good this year
Kobe will play. Yahoo writer just looking for hits.
I think Kobe's always been more important to the team in the postseason. The Lakers would probably still win 50+ games without him in the regular season, so this won't make a huge difference, especially if he hasn't really made a mark in training camp/preseason. Lakers are still the (slight) favorites in that game.
It doesn't really matter since they were going to lose anyway.
Fisher/Blake
Brown/Barnes/Sasha
Artest/Barnes
Odom/Gasol
Gasol/Ratliff
vs
Brooks/Lowry
Martin/Lee
Battier/Budinger
Scola/Hayes
Yao/Miller
lol gl Lakers without Kobe and Bynum.
are you seriously bragging about your squad compared to a lakers squad without Kobe and Bynum? Thats not something to be "proud" of. lol
rocketfan is hilarious
Better even with Kobe and Bynum
What's the big deal? Bynum never plays and Kobe quit playing in the playoffs last season.
Though it is only the first game, If a fully healthy Rockets team can't pull away from a Laker team without Kobe and Bynum, it could be a cause for concern.
So they have no go to guy......thanks for playing.
