This. I thought this team had a chance to gimmick there way to a playoff spot. I no longer think such, and actually think they will be closer to a bottom-10 team in the NBA than to the playoffs. No defense, no rebounding, no post game, inconsistency up the ass... They've looked horrible in the majority of the minutes played this preseason. That's not something can be so quickly written off.
Sarver isn't as cheap with the team anymore, but he frugaled Kerr back to the booth, which contributed to this wreck and Amare out of town. The odd part is him spending more in guarantees to replace Amare than it would have to keep him, which is probably just him trying to prove he's not cheap, which, has now put Phoenix in even a worse spot for the future than had he been cheap to Kerr/Amare and stayed cheap throughout.
