"It's okay guys, it was a tie. We still get ice cream at Dairy Queen. Everyone hop on the back of the truck." - Wade Phillips

Wade has made some terrible coaching calls this season, but not kicking the FG is the biggest.

    It's not even debatable.

Your defense has already created 4 TOs and you're playing two RBs with fumbling issues and a QB notorious for throwing the ball up for grabs at times.

    Give your team a chance.

Two TDs late would be a perfect end.

I wish they'd fire Wade now, I would love Wade to be the OC of my team.
    OC?? Really??

Anyway, the most beautiful thing is that Jerry's ego has boxed himself in so he can't fire Wade now. About the only way Jerry saves face is by forcing Wade to quit.

Congrats Cowboys. On a night when you don't have a lot of penalties you find a way to yourself yet again. Jesus Christ.

Wow, if only the Cowboys hadn't gone into a 20 minute funk in the middle of the game after Romo got hurt. Gee, would someone who steps up to act like a leader of men have helped? Naaah.

I mean I'm no expert but it seems that the Boys have plenty of talent. So talent doesn't always = wins. Dayum.

Giants may be the default NFC favorites now but thats more of a testament to the Parity in the league than anything they've actually done.

LOL my bad. My team has Bill Davis who will probably be canned this season so they need a defensive coach.

It's amazing that the Cowboys manage to take a game that looked like a blowout at one point and turn it into another close loss that came down to two or three really critical (and stupid) mistakes by players and coaches.

  19. #244
The Giants are still a really good team, they just fell asleep at the end and the Cowboys *gasp* played with a little heart and made a game out of it

For all the ing about Kitna, he led the team to 18* points when they were down 18.

Not even a scrub like Kitna can escape Wade's greatness.

Cowboys have no leadership. These ass s ...are soft, gutless and stupid. Even the reliable players like miles and witten are dropping passes fumbling and making penalties.

    That is pretty funny.

Wade would've been in better position if the team just tanked then atleast the excuse is that Romo got hurt. By making a game out of it that forced him to make a decision that might've cost them the game

Dez Bryant is more responsible for the comeback than Kitna. Kitna blew a number of passes that would have helped tie the game. One of the scores was from 18 yards out after an interception return on a virtual lateral to Dez Bryant.

Most of the yards gained were yards after the catch. I think I remember two forward passes from Kitna, one to a wide open Witten for the two point conversion, and another to a wide open player for a first down. For most of his time though, Kitna was going backwards, getting sacked, missing open receivers, etc. He's terrible.
